Variation of products and price
Metro may vary the prices on this website at any time, and prices are subject to change until you have paid for the products in full.
We will be using Australia Post and Australia Post Partners for all of our shipping needs. All orders will be shipped from our Melbourne Warehouse within one to two business days. Delivery lead time will vary depending on your location.
Please note that all parcels will require a signature upon delivery. If there's no authorised person at the delivery address to sign for the parcel, then the delivery driver will leave a card and the parcel will be returned to the nearest collection agency/center.
In most cases orders will be trackable via a unique tracking number that will be emailed to you when your order has been shipped. Some remote countries/locations do not allow parcel tracking capabilities.
We will make every attempt to deliver goods within normal timeframes however please beware that delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances or factors that are beyond our control.
GST (Deliveries within Australia)
All orders where delivery is within Australia include goods and services tax (GST)
Customs and Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to local charges such as import taxes, duties, tariffs, customs clearance etc. Any customs or import duties and associated fees are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Metro Trains Melbourne cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned, and Metro Trains Melbourne will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase (placement of order and order confirmation), unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Returns will not be accepted i) if an item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error ii) any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery iii) items that were on sale at time of purchase
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
For security and peace of mind, we strongly suggest insured registered post as Metro Trains Melbourne is not liable for lost return parcels.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card within a certain number of days.
All orders are calculated in US Dollars (USD). You must pay for your products purchased on this website at the time of placing an order.
We only accept payment by MasterCard and Visa for payments made directly through the site. If using PayPal check out you are subject to their payment terms and conditions.
The ability to change currencies is provided. Currency rates are an estimate only and are calculated on exchange rates upon confirmation of order. Some minor variations may occur. Metro Trains Melbourne is not responsible for any variations to exchange rates.
We will always act to protect the details of your payment and purchase however in the absence of negligence, Metro Trains Melbourne will not be responsible for any loss or damage that you may suffer if a third party acquires unauthorised access to data that you have provided to us when ordering from our website.
Our servers will help secure your personal information with up-to-date firewalls and encryption techniques during the ordering and purchase process.
Metro Trains Melbourne will endeavor to pack and ship your order using suitable transport services. Metro Trains Melbourne will not accept responsibility for products damaged during transit.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel your online order provided that it has not been dispatched. Please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
We will attempt to cancel your order without delay however occasionally it may not be possible to stop an order from being dispatched.
